  • 2 min read

Among the many beneficial products we offer at Jubbas is black seed oil. You may have heard of it before. People have been using it for many years due to the array of health and lifestyle benefits it offers.

Of course, those who have never tried black seed oils may be unaware of what those benefits are. Here are just a few that all serve as great reasons for you to use black seed oil.

It Resists Superbugs

There has been a rising tide of superbugs in hospitals around the world. These bugs have developed a resistance to traditional antibiotics, which presents a lot of problems for those who contract them.

That’s where black seed oil can help. A study at the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College examined 144 of these superbugs to see which treatment methods would be best suited for them. It found that black seed oil proved useful in inhibiting the bugs in 97% of cases. The study also showed the oil is more effective, in certain cases, than well-known antibiotics like Amoxicillin and Tetracycline.

Lowering Blood Pressure

Several studies have pointed towards black seed oil as an effective way to lower the body’s blood pressure. Those with mildly elevated levels will find that a two-month course consisting of regular intake of black seed oil can help their blood pressure return to normal levels. This has several beneficial effects. High blood pressure is linked to several heart conditions and other ailments.

Possible Use For Diabetic Patients

Early studies have suggested that black seed oil may prove useful for people with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. An article published in the Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism went into more detail. It noted that a trial in mice showed that black seed oil aided in the development of pancreatic beta cells. It also helped to lower the blood sugar levels of the subjects.

This is not conclusive proof, by any means. More human tests need to be completed. This means you should always follow your doctor’s advice if you have diabetes. Even so, we may see black seed oil get incorporated into newer treatments for diabetes in the future.

Liver Health

Your liver is one of your body’s most important organs. It plays a crucial role in sifting through toxins and disposing of those that could damage your health. It also helps you digest fats and maintain your mental health. Some studies suggest that black seed oil can help those who have suffered liver damage. Alongside other medications, it has been shown to speed up the healing process for the liver, improving its function and thus helping it do its job.

Digestion

Black seed oil has been used for centuries as a digestive aid. Even Hippocrates, who gave his name to the Hippocratic Oath that all doctors abide by, was said that have eaten black seed oil regularly. It decreases bloating and lowers instances of stomach cramps. Many who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome will find that black seed oil can help them.
